Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi - A premiere place for doing an MBA

For a city with more than 10 million people which is also the capital of the country, the number of top ranked management colleges that the city has is very small indeed. Delhi has just one top 10 ranked college in India, which is a college affiliated to Delhi University, called Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. Is is more commonly known as FMS / FMS Delhi. The Faculty was started in 1954 and provides both part-time and full time courses. When FMS started, the first set of Professors were trained at the Stanford University Business School, with the school itself being started at the Delhi School of Economics under the leadership of Prof A. Dasgupta.
The various courses being offered at FMS are:
MBA (Full Time) - The intake of this programme for 2010 is 166 participants .
MBA (Management of Services - Full Time) - This programme started in 2004 and the intake for 2010 batch is 75 students.
MBA (Part Time) - 140 seats for candidates having a minimum of three year work experience
MBA (Health Care Administration - Part Time) - 15 seats for practicing doctors
