VIMHANS (Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences) (site) is located near Lajpat Nagar, in a locality called Nehru Nagar. It is best approachable as you move from Lajpat Nagar towards Ashram, towards the left. There are signs near the end of the Sriniwaspuri Flyover that point you to the exact location.
Disciplines available include Mental Health, Neurosciences, Orthopaedics and Spine, Rehabilitation Medicine and Child Development. From the original field of mental health, now the hospital is a superspeciality institute covering 5 major medical specialities and their allied disciplines with three outreach centers in different parts of North India.
With a 28 bedded I.C.U. (and a total of 110 beds), the hospital is looked after by 30 consultants and a large number of support staff.
