Kirori Mal College, Delhi University - a leading college for science and arts

Kirori Mal College is one of the better known colleges that are a part of Delhi University, located in the North Campus location of Delhi University. The college offers a host of under-graduate courses in the area of science, arts, liberal arts, and also has a reputation for being one of the more politically active zones of Delhi University in terms of student politics.
Kirori Mal College was originally located on Qutub Road, it was originally known as Nirmala College, started by American Jesuits. However, the partition cause huge problems for the management of the college, and it finally passed into the control of a trust that was headed by Seth Kirori Mal. The college moved to the current North Campus location on 1 February 1954.
Kirori Mal College has a noticeable number of high profile alumni such as:
Amitabh Bachchan, Shakti Kapoor, Naveen Patnaik, Madanlal Khurana, Kabir Khan, Ravi Baswani, M.S. Kohli, etc.
The college aims to provide a well rounded education through a range of resources and activities in addition to its list of courses. These include:
A well equipped library, computer center, auditorium, bank, gymnasium, sports facilities for different sports, extensive cultural activities (such as debate, music, drama, dance, photography, etc).
