A small pizza joint in East Delhi - ParkPizzeria
For this people living in East Delhi, the nearby accessible places for pizza are Dominos, Pizza Hut, Niruals, and a few others. However, if you want to have a slightly different pizza or are looking for some variety, go in for a square pizza; that's right, a pizza that is not round, but square.
Located in Dayanand Vihar, close to the Karkardooma metro station, this is a very small place but with some great tasting pizza and pasta. Look for this place called ParkPizzeria (link), which serves Pizzas, pasta, garlic bread, chicken nuggets, some great muffins, and some nice sandwiches. I have ordered from there more than 2 times, which for me means that I like the food. Not very expensive either.
South Delhi had access to some of the earliest malls in Delhi. You had the good (but now slightly old-fashioned and hot in summer) Ansal Plaza on Khel Gaon Marg, and the malls in Gurgaon that were not so far away. However, there is now no need to go to these places; you have the brightest and best new mall opened up in Saket, called Select Citywalk Mall (link). The 1,300,000 sq ft (121,000 m²). retail development is spread over six acres and includes a multiplex, serviced apartments, offices and public spaces. Situated on the Press Enclave Road, it is within 15-20 minutes of driving time from prime residential colonies such as Panchsheel park, Geetanjali Enclave, Greater Kailash, Anand Lok, Gulmohur Park, Hauz Khas, Safdarjung Enclave & Sainik Farms.
Map of the Mall (not too hard to get directions once you know the exact location):
The mall has plenty of good brand name stores, it has a multiplex (PVR), and has good eating options. What more do you want ?
Shops: Fabindia, Pantaloons, Food Bazaar, Mac (cosmetics), Lush (soaps / cosmetics), Shoe Tree (shoes), Benetton (clothes), Clinique (cosmetics), Esprit (clothes), Guess (clothes), Barista Creme, Mothercare, Hidesign, Mango, Pratap, Kimaya, Wills Lifestyle, Shoppers Stoppe, Good Earth Veranada, L’affaire, Allen Solly, Arcelia, Home Stop, Crossword, H2O, Van Heusen, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, Charles and Keith, Inc5, Nine West, Shoe Tree, Lancome, Loccitane En Provence, Forest Essentials, Tissot, Swatch, Ethos, William Penn, Guardian Lifecare Pvt. Ltd, Valaya.FNP, Kalpana, Cheemo, maspar, Mynah
Food: Food Court called Food Talk (many types - Chinese, South Indian, North Indian, Mexican, Italian, Sizzlers), KFC, Gelato, Barista, Caffe Coffee Day, all-vegetarian Sattvik, Cocoa by Belgique, Patchi
Taking the mall’s entertainment quotient much higher is a public space called Saanskriti, having an open air amphitheatre, specialized lighting, water bodies and trees, specially planned for conducting cultural programs such as fairs, festivals and art performances.
This is a huge mall. It can take many hours to navigate all the different sections, and there is a fair chance of becoming lost (or rather, trying to find a shop that you have found earlier). And if you have made an arrangement to meet somebody over there, then it can get difficult; because it is very crowded during the weekends and even during the normal daytime, and also because it can get confusing. However, these could be counted as negatives; but the positive is that this is one mall that can help you to find whatever you want. There are many eating places, there is bowling, there are movies, there are restaurants, and the place is full of shopping. And of course, there is an amusement park next door with plenty of rides. The mall comprises an area of 1,500,000-square-foot (139,400 m²), making it one of the largest operational mall in India. The Great India Place was developed by the Unitech Group and is located in Sector 38-A of Noida. The Mall is supposed to be a part of a Huge Entertainment City with an Water & Amusement Park, Bollywood-Theme Park, and Hotel. The mall follows a zoned concept with home and grocery on the basement level, women's apparel on one side, men's on the other and a 180,000 sq.ft. Food and Entertainment zone on the top floor, with a 5-screen Adlabs multiplex, with a total seating capacity of 1220 seats. Some of the major stores are Big Bazaar, Home Store (for items for the home), Pantaloon, Globus, Lifestyle, Shopper Stop, Bossini, D & A shoes, CTC Plaza, Lee Copper, Tana Bana, Hallmark, Titan, Giovani, Jumbo Electronics, Om Book Shop, Hazoorilal, R C Jewellers, Cygnus, Tanishq, Ritu Wears, Planet M, Archies, Lazy Boy, Dollar Shop, Adidas, Nike, Guess, Marks & Spencer, Satya Paul, Raymond Shop
Food: Nirula's, Sbarro, Rajdhani, Yatra, Noodle Bar, Food Court, Pind Balluchi, TGIF, KFC, PIzza Hut, Bembos, Pizzaria Express, and many others.
You also have pool and bowling options on the same floor as the food court.

In addition, the Mall also has the backdrop of a lake spread over 3.5 acres. The Mall is gaining in popularity and becoming a must-visit for people of all age groups. The Big Chill are very famous eateries, located in East of Kailash and Khan Market, and started by Aseem Grover and Fawzia Ahmed 7 years ago. They opened the first one in a residential area in East of Kailash to cater to the crowd from Lady Shriram College, and the idea soon grew very popular. And there is a second one opened after the first one, this one in Khan Market. What kind of place is it ? I would encourage you to go there and try it out, you will not regret it. Starring authentic Italian cuisine, home-made ice creams and desserts, it has a huge number of fans. In addition, there's great salads, soups, pastas, pizzas, baked potatoes, grilled fish and more. Everything is fresh, and made-in-house including the bread. Some of the items you get are baked potatoes, pizzas, pasta, salads, risottos, bakes, grilled fish, lots of shakes and other such stuff, and ice cream and choco;ate stuff, and so on. For the local ambience, you have numerous posters of golden oldie Hollywood movies in sleek black frames jostling for space on all the walls, something the couple who own the place are passionate about.

Delhi Eating: Diva restaurant for good Italian fare
Diva is an acknowledged great restaurant in South Delhi for lovers of Italian food. Created by Ritu Dalmia in 2003 who has a variety of experience in opening restaurants across the globe, the restaurant has imbibed her feeling of warmth and customer service. A lot of people who have gone there have enjoyed the quality of food and wine so much that it has become one of their favorite restaurants. Serving a variety of Italian food (besides regulars such as pasta) such as cheese fondue, grilled fish, prawns, veal, chicken (mouth-watering tender chicken cooked with breadcrumbs and finished off with lemon), meat, crepes, excellent pasta, a variety of breads, antipasti, artichokes, sliced crispy duck, spagehtti, a variety of seafood, and some excellent vegetarian food, thin crust Italian pizza. Cooking is done in olive oil. In fact, the cooking actually has a Sicilian touch to it. All of the ingredients are picked fresh and with a fetish for cleanliness from reputed local suppliers. In addition, there is an excellent wine cellar with a wide variety of wines available. The restaurant is spread over 2 floors, with a slightly bigger seating downstairs. The restaurant is located in Greater Kailash II, and is open for lunch and dinner; the cafe is open from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM. A meal for two would be in the range of Rs. 1500-2000. Contact number for reservations: +91-11-29215673 / +91-11-41637019 / +91-11-41637858
It is always hard to get some good non-Indian food in Delhi, and once you get such food, the places serving these become very popular. One such type of food not easily available in Delhi is authentic Italian food, and one place serving such food is called 'Flavours of Italy'. The restaurant is located next to Moolchand Flyover in south-east Delhi, a stone's throw from Ashram Chowk. The address for the restaurant is 52C, Moolchand Flyover Complex, Defence Colony Phone number: 24645644 It's run by an Italian gent called Tarsillo Nataloni, who set this up more than 11 years back. The restaurant slowly became more popular, and is frequented by a number of foreigners, as well as natives of Delhi, who are fond of Italian food, or want to get a different taste. You get a variety of pizza and pasta, but the prices are in the moderate to high zone. You can also enjoy wines from the wine cellar.
Pizza Hut is loved by a lot of people in Delhi. The various Pizza Hut locations that I have been to are always very clean, with courteous waiters and waitresses. Food normally does not take too long to arrive, and they also serve a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, although most groups that I have gone with normally order pitchers of cold drinks. Pizza Hut also delivers Pizzas, and one hit is the 4 small pan pizzas that they serve for a price of Rs. 200 for vegetarian pizzas and Rs. 250 for non-vegetarian pizzas. Pizza Hut is located at a variety of locations in Delhi & NCR (remember, not all of these are dine-in. Some are dine-in or takeaway or delivery, or a combination): - Greater Kailash, M Block market - Connaught Place, Inner Circle - 41, Basant Lok, Vasanth Vihar - Green Park Market - Grandlay Cinema Building, New Friends Colony - Narmada Housing Society, Alaknandan - Padam Singh Road, Karol Bagh - Community Center, Saket - Netaji Subash Place, Pitampura - Janpath, Connaught Place - Satyam Cineplex, Janakpuri - Parsvnath Metro Mall, Inderlok - Aggarwal City Plaza, Rohini - MGF City Square Mall, Rajouri Garden, West Delhi - Shivaji Place, Near Rajouri Garden Market - Fun City Mall, Prashanth Vihar - Ashirwad Chowk, Aggarwal Mall, Dwarka - V3Mall, Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi
