For people living in Karol Bagh, Roshan Di Kulfi is one of the most famous places in Karol Bagh for eating, and has been there for a very long time. As the name would suggest, it is very famous for the Kulfi (and charges a decent amount for it as well), and one would say deservedly so. People are so fond of the Kulfi that they will go again and again for it.
The shop is now much more approachable, since it is located around 500 meters from the Karol Bagh Metro station, on Ajmal Khan Road, and you reach the shop. If you don't have the inclination to walk, rickshaws are very easily available. Of course, you might get distracted since you will cross Ghaffar market, and it is one of the best market for bargains on electronics and mobiles.
The shop now serves all kinds of food, including Pizzas, but the traditional stuff of chaat and chole bhature are very good. Lassi is also pretty good. And on the subject of Kulfi, try it with the vermicilli like falooda, and you will realize how good kulfi-falooda can be.

Yahoo Maps has come out with a Beta Map for India, that also has a detailed map for Delhi. You start with a Map of India at this URL, and then you can start zooming into the map. You get an option to either view a Map, or a satellite view, or a Hybrid mixture of the two.
The map shows a gridline of roads, railway lines and water bodies, as well as the names of localities, and you can also do a search for the names of regions, as well as businesses such as Banks, Hotels, Restaurants, Hospitals, Tourist Places, Multiplexes, Movie Halls, etc.

Delhi Eating: Food Court of 'Great India Place' in Noida

The Great India Place is a massive mall located just off the Sector 18 market in Noida. It has a huge number of shops and showrooms catering to a number of different brands in clothes, apparel, accessories, shoes, etc. You name the brand and you should be able to find it there. To cater to all this, it has a massive capacity in terms of car parking, with the entire huge basement for car parking (although the car parking is expensive, costing Rs. 30 per visit).
On the 3rd (top floor) of the Great India Place, you have the eating options as well as the bowling range. The food court is a bit stylish, although the chairs and tables are all place close together and can get cramped. You have a central dome and a circular area around which the chairs are arranged, and on one side, you have the food court options, while on the other side, you have a vegetarian restaurant called 'Yatra'.
The food court has a variety in terms of Indian (South and North Indian) along with Chinese, Mexican, sandwiches, pizza, burger and other such food. You get a variety of drinks over there (all non-alcoholic).
And then there is the Yatra restaurant, where you have a vegetarian thaali. Here you actually get to sample 2 types of vegetarian cultures, and you can really enjoy the food. Quantity is unlimited, and it costs around Rs. 150 on weekdays and Rs. 170 on weekends, and is a good place to eat.

Delhi Nightlife: Ministry of Sound

What a strange name for a nightclub; well, this is the Indian franchise of the famous London nightclub. It is a very new nightclub, having been opened early this year, and had been closed once by the Municipal Corporation due to its being located in a residential area. However, it is currently open and its charter of events can be accessed at its website.

Constructed in the form of a pyramid, soaring nearly 80 feet at its peak, the club can accommodate 1,400 people at maximum capacity. The pyramid is formed by a latticework of steel, with 310 diagonal panes of heat-reflective glass. The interior design is striking, with extensive use of black leather sofas and easy chairs, bed loungers, all with silver accents.

Delhi Eating: Diva restaurant for good Italian fare

Diva is an acknowledged great restaurant in South Delhi for lovers of Italian food. Created by Ritu Dalmia in 2003 who has a variety of experience in opening restaurants across the globe, the restaurant has imbibed her feeling of warmth and customer service. A lot of people who have gone there have enjoyed the quality of food and wine so much that it has become one of their favorite restaurants.
Serving a variety of Italian food (besides regulars such as pasta) such as cheese fondue, grilled fish, prawns, veal, chicken (mouth-watering tender chicken cooked with breadcrumbs and finished off with lemon), meat, crepes, excellent pasta, a variety of breads, antipasti, artichokes, sliced crispy duck, spagehtti, a variety of seafood, and some excellent vegetarian food, thin crust Italian pizza. Cooking is done in olive oil. In fact, the cooking actually has a Sicilian touch to it. All of the ingredients are picked fresh and with a fetish for cleanliness from reputed local suppliers. In addition, there is an excellent wine cellar with a wide variety of wines available.
The restaurant is spread over 2 floors, with a slightly bigger seating downstairs. The restaurant is located in Greater Kailash II, and is open for lunch and dinner; the cafe is open from 11:30 AM to 11:30 PM. A meal for two would be in the range of Rs. 1500-2000.

Delhi Eating: Tabula Rasa restaurant in Saket

This is a brand new lounge and restaurant, located on the top of the Square One Mall in Saket District Center, behind Marriott Hotel. It is the newest hip and trendy place in Delhi (owners Rohan Gupta, 29, and Sohrab Sitaram, 31, both of them with experience in the restaurant business) bringing in a large number of people everyday to come and enjoy the place. Of course, it is fairly pricey, a meal for 2 will cost roughly Rs. 2500-3000 (which makes it a very expensive place). The name of the restaurant means 'Clean Slate' in Latin, although I did not see any special significance to the name.
It offers both outdoor and indoor seating, with a good ambience even on the open terrace where outdoor seating exists. And those worried about the Delhi weather can be less worried, since the place has heating in winter and a cooling effect in summer. The staff is polite and helpful.
The restaurant has the concept of the tapas lounge bar, and tried to put an environment where people can relax and have a great time. There is music, but no dancing.
The restaurant has 2 specialties, both of them international. It stars a menu driven from all over the world, with dishes from places as diverse as Vietnam, Moldavia, part inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, Eastern; also liquor and cocktails driven from all over the world. The other international touch is that it is trying out the concept of serving smaller plates, so that you can try more stuff, and get to sample more of the cuisine for the same price. In addition, the restaurant tries to catch onto getting more ladies by having a Wednesday Ladies Special with unlimited cocktails between 9 and 11 PM.
